MTEMC has deployed GIS for Data Management, Design, Planning & Analysis, Operational Awareness, Field Data Collection, and Vegetation Management. MTEMC has further integrated GIS into enterprise business systems such as AVL, OMS, SCADA, CIS, and Document Management. GIS is considered a critical business system at MTEMC and fundamental to their mission to deliver safe, affordable, reliable electricity and excellent Member Service.
